Slide #9: Mars Observer Logo.

Every NASA space mission has a logo.  The Mars Observer 
logo shows the spacecraft and a simplified view of Mars.  The 
four dots forming a triangle on the red Mars represent the 
Tharsis volcanoes (see slide #
2).  
The other landform featured is the Valles Marineris canyon 
system.
