Summer 1995 Visits

We are open for the Summer (May - August 1995)!

We recently acquired a full-scale model of the TES instrument, plus have on hand a flight-spare of the Viking Infrared Thermal Mapper (IRTM). We also have on display scale models of the Mars Observer, Mars Pathfinder, and Delta II Rocket.

Educators may bring K-12 summer school / camp students to the ASU Mars Global Surveyor Facility. Phone (602) 965-1790 to arrange a 30 minute visit!

Educators are also encouraged to allow the students an opportunity to tour other facilities on the ASU campus, which include a meteorite collection, geology museum, miniature planetarium, snake and reptile collection, among other things.
