It has been the experience of past TES data users that FTP download of binary files works better than the Web browser downloads. Web browsers use a variety of methods to “guess” the format of a downloadable file; to avoid wrong guesses and the corruption of data during transfer, we recommend that you use FTP and specify BINARY mode.
This directory contains a current copy of all MGS-TES Standard Data Products and the associated documentation. Be sure to set your FTP software to operate in BINARY mode for data file transfers.
